Diabetes Scotland are excited to share our latest volunteering opportunities for young people aged 18-24 with type 1 diabetes. These opportunities are centred around peer support and connecting young people with type 1 aged 13-24 with their peers and making new connections. We have a number of different roles around 1-2-1 buddying, setting up local peer support groups, moderating discussion groups online, hosting online webinars and running and facilitating wellbeing sessions. If you would like to know anything more about these opportunities please email Iain French the Youth Coordinator on Iain.French@diabetes.org.uk to find out more and how to get involved.
