For those who have come in to contact with the justice system, some of you have had positive relationships with advocacy support and with police officers. Others have felt isolated and don’t have an experience of being supported.
Orkney is committed to supporting care leavers who may be involved with, or at risk of becoming involved with, the criminal justice system through a relationship-based, trauma-informed, and preventative approach.
During normal office hours Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm Contact Orkney Health and Care Children and Families Services on 01856 873535 extension 3342 or if the person is an adult call 01856 873535 and ask for Adult Social Work
This will take you to The Balfour Hospital switchboard then you ask for the Emergency Social Worker.
