Some of you have told us that you have received good support in relation to housing and accommodation. For example support from Orkney Blide Trust, Right There or from residential child care staff. For others you noted that support has been mixed or you didn’t get it when you wanted it.
We want to make sure that all care leavers have access to safe, suitable housing and the support they need to achieve successful independent living.
During normal office hours Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm Contact Orkney Health and Care Children and Families Services on 01856 873535 extension 3342 or if the person is an adult call 01856 873535 and ask for Adult Social Work
This will take you to The Balfour Hospital switchboard then you ask for the Emergency Social Worker.
